The Refinance Process
1. Initial Consultation and Needs Assessment: We will talk about your goal for refinancing, for example: lowering your interest rate, reducing your monthly payment, shortening your loan term, buying-out a co-owner, or cashing out equity.
2. Review Your Financial Profile: We will collect your financial details such as income, employment, credit score, assets and debts to see if you qualify for the best available refinance options.
3. Recommend Loan Products and Rate: In this step of the process, you will be able to compare different lender's refinance programs, chose the rate and term options that better match your goals.
4. Take Your Application: We'll help you complete the official loan refinance application. The required documents will be gathered and analyzed for example: pay stubs, bank statements, current mortgage statement, homeowner insurance, etcetera.
5. Disclosure & Compliance: We'll provide legally required disclosures so you understand all costs and terms before moving forward.
6. Submit to Underwriting: We'll package and send your application to the lender's underwriting team. Comunicate with underwriters to answer questions or supply additional documents.
7. Coordinate Appraisal & Title Work: We'll submit an appraisal order to the lender to confirm property value. We'll also coordinate with escrow and title companies to ensure there are no issues.
8. Keep You Updated: We'll act as your point of contact for updates, changes, or conditions from underwriting and explain any request from the lender and help you respond quickly.
9. Final Approval & Closing: At this stage, we'll review your Closing Disclosure with you to confirm final numbers and schedule your loan closing and make sure you know what to bring and sign.
Post-Closing Follow-Up: In this final stept it will be confirmed that your old mortgage loan has been paid off and your new loan is active and we'll answer any questions about your first payment or servicing transfer.
